DIY: Mustache gift wrapping

As I was deciding what paper to use to wrap two birthday gifts, I remembered that I bought a roll of mustache gift wrap. I said I can make a mustache gift-tag on a stick, like the ones you use in photo booths.  I thought to myself, why not make a DIY post? This is a fun ideal and the person opening the gift will have fun with it, so here I am with the Mustache gift wrapping DIY.

Supplies:
  • Black construction paper
  • Mustache gift wrapping paper
  • Glue or tape
  • A wooden skewer
  • Scissors
  • Tulle fabric
  • A gift to wrap
  • Metallic Gold or Silver sharpie

You can Google mustache clip-art or draw one of the mustaches from your gift-wrap. I picked two from the gift wrap that I had on hand.

I wrote the name on the tag before applying it to the skewer below.
You can either glue it or tape it to the back of the tag.
I put my name on the back but you can also put it
on the front of the tag as well.

Ta-daaaaa!
Putting glitter on the mustaches would also be a nice touch.

Wrap your gift

Cut on long wide piece of Tulle to go around your gift

Tie it in a knot...don't pull to hard you will rip your Tulle

Now cut several strips on Tulle for your bow,
the more you cut the fuller the bow.

Bunch them up in the middle

Place the cut pieces in the middle of the
Tulle wrapped around your gift.

Now tie them together

Pull all the Tulle up together, and trim straight across, as seen below

Now play with it to fluff it out

Now to add the icing to the cake, if you will or putting the
cherry on top...whatever you wan to call it let's do it!

That's Blanche!

...and this is Max!
