DIY: Denim Patchwork Reupholstered Chair

It's DIY time Ya'll and I think you're gonna like this! I took a chair that we had sitting in the garage for several years and hooked it up! The reason it was moved into the garage was because our dog Sheba decided to chew two holes in the front of the chair. I patched it up but it was unsightly so I took it out of the family room. I am not sure why I did not give it a new lease on life before now but now is better than never or better late than never or it is good this happened now although it should have happened sooner...wait a dang on minute "talking to myself" I'm in the midst of thinking of every idiom I can for my procrastination issues! (As I am clearing my throat) Moving right along here is said chair which is going to be living in my oldest son's Ajani's room. It's so befitting because I used all his old jeans that I saved for  projects to cover this chair. I used the jeans as they were, in all their perfect imprecations......that was my John Legend moment. Oh, I also made a fur and denim pillow just because but it's not going in his room because after all boys don't do fur. I'm in the process of a room make-over for him which I'm sure your gonna see in a upcoming post. Cheerios!

  4. Very cute, I used to keep jeans and turn them into different things. I absolutely love the way you covered the chair. You clearly have some sewing skills. That is on my things to do list for sure.
