TBT: I'm bringing Giselle back 70's Style [Sew What Series: Kate & Rose Giselle pattern]

I'm bringing  Giselle back for my seventies party and she's having a great time! My original post HERE shows how I recycled an over-sized denim jumper for this top and I used premium cotton prints for the maxi. I did a little hacking to make my Giselle and with the glorious seventies in mind. I have to tell you at first, I had big puffy sleeves and Mori said "NOooooo Way am I wearing those sleeves. Soooo I I had to trim them down to a sleeve that was Mori acceptable. This is a great pattern because it is vintage inspired could pull off a Folky or Boho vibe as well. In English this pattern is versatile.

    1. Yo thanks Donna! I love mixing it up, some people get it and some people don't get it and that's cool. I figure as long as they are talking about it, it's all good!

    1. This is one of my garments that make me happy when I look at it. Funny thing it you can't even begin to know how stressed out I was trying to find floral to together. I finally had to stop trying to match things together and I just went through my prints and pulled out three prints and just put them together. It all worked out but it was not planned.

  10. An absolute MASTERPIECE!!! Michelle, you are undeniably the master of mixing prints. How in the world did you think to put these 3 prints together? It's like a painting, really. As I looked through the photos I felt like I was admiring a beautiful painting. You are a true artist, my friend. I LOVE seeing your one-of-a-kind creations. You bring so much to the sewing community. I don't know what you have going on with your craft, but someone needs to grab you. You need to be designing clothes for the movie starts. I'm dead serious. You are TALENTED! I watching you, and learning! Yes, I'm watching, and learning. Thanks for sharing your BEAUTIFUL work and your AMAZING talent.
