Tulle skirts are everywhere these
days, so I jumped on the bandwagon and made a black tulle skirt. I work with tulle for my fancy gift wrapping
but it’s been a long-long time since I have sewn anything with tulle. I
remember sewing a prom gown back in the 80’s that the floor length skirt was
rows and rows of tulle starting with bright pink fading upwards to a pastel
pink. That was a beast to sew but rewarding afterwards! This was a little
tricky sewing all the layers together and now I know what to do the next time
to manage the tulle a little better. I have a bunch of
hot pink tulle that I am going to use to make a fuller maxi skirt. TTY!
Having a Tulle Party on my
blog. If you have or in the middle creating a Tulle masterpiece let's do this.
Like my face book page: That Black Chic and e-mail me a quality photo of your Tulle
creation to:Thatblackchic@gmail.com I will be posting them on this blog on July 7th. Happy Tulling (if that's even a word!)
