Need a quick DIY to bring to the party? Why not glitterize your wine or champagne bottle? I have been seeing these glitter bottles on
Pinterest and
Google forever. I always said I was going to make one and then my daughter wanted to make them for her cubby buddies at work. These are super simple and super impressive. You will need glitter [two colors if you want to make an ombre bottle], glue, paint brush, small container for glitter mix, paper plates, clear wrap, ribbon and a bottle to decorate.
1. add glue to the area you want to glitterize first and and pour on your glitter.
2. for ombre mix the top and bottom color together in a container and put glue on the mid section and pour this glitter on the bottle.
3. put glue on your last section and add the other color
4. let it dry
5. wrap in clear wrap
6. add your ribbon
7. let's get going to the party!
Nice. You are so full of artistic ideas. I would have never thought of doing something like that.
ReplyDeleteI can't take credit for this one. I have seen several DIY's for years and my daughter said let's dot it so I finally made them.

ReplyDeleteThanks, I had seen this DIY fo-eva but finally my daughter got me to do it.
DeleteI am such a sucker for glitter! I love your bottle! I've had to ban glitter from the house or it ends up on my fabrics and, the floor, and the counters, and the pets and... I'm trying to stick with jewel stickers and sequins, I have been glitter free for a few months now and I even made it through Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYou should have seen my sewing room after this! I hadn't used glitter for YEARS but I have to admit is was fun.
DeleteSo Fab Michelle! I think I'm going to do this for my daughters college going away party! I will make sure to not only give you a shout out for the inspiration but share some pics with you as well! THANKS FOR THE GREAT IDEA!
