Are those Jeans to
short? Jeans ripped at the bottom? Are you just tired of those old jeans? If
you said yes to any of these questions, boy do I have something for you! This
is too simple not to do it. All you need is those jeans, bleach, Q-Tips, ink-pen
and a little inspiration and then game-on!
Supplies
Cut your jeans to
the desired length. If you don’t want to roll them up you can enjoy the frayed
look after bleaching and washing them.
You can draw you
design or free-hand it just as I did. If you mess up it’s OK! I did a test run
on the throw away bottoms of the jeans, the longer you leave it on the lighter
your design will get. Place a barrier inside the leg so that the bleach will not go through...that was an afterthought while doing mine. You will want to wash the shorts after bleaching.
These came out pretty cool. I think I’m going to
try writing different words all over my next project.
how fun!
