DIY Share: Music Lyrics Plates

I had a co-worker (Jillian) who got this ideal from Pintrest and she used a bible verse on her plates as a wedding gift for a friend. I thought it was a wonderful ideal but tooo time consuming for me.  I came across this post on Google Plus and I think I can do it fairly quickly, so it's on my to-do list now.  This project is from Kelly at  Eclectically Vintage. Click you way on over and check it out for yourself and get busy !
 Enjoy this share.

"What the French Toast Friday"

Now let me put out my disclaimer: These interiors in no way reflect my style or taste, they in no way would possibly represent a room that I would design or have in my home. I do not condone the questionable choices made in the fabrics, prints or colors. I am in no way responsible for any feelings of contempt that you may have after viewing these photographs. The people who are responsible for the hideous monstrosities are still artist in their own rights. Designing & Art are about interpretation and someone somewhere is enjoying these rooms.

I may get some slack for these pictures I'm posting but this is my opinion so bring it on Bitches! I can take it the good the bad and the UGLY!

I just don't have the words to describe this.... I really don't.

I love Christmas just as much as the next person but seriously?

I guess if you have them put them all on the ceiling.

Is that wallpaper on the floor?

DIY'd: My version of the Rag Balls!

You may recall my earlier DIY share for the Rag Balls, well here are mine. I actually glued fabric on some old balls that I had. I only did four to get the feel. I like them a lot and next year I am going to make this a family project.

DIY'd: Christmas Pillows

I gifted my book Club members the fabric and supplies to
create their very own Holiday pillows.
I got mixed reactions from the ladies, some said you think your slick having us make our own Christmas gifts. Some of the ladies fell asleep while we were sewing, the nerve! All in all it was a new experience for some of the ladies and I was happy to be a part of that! We didn't get to make the poinsettia pillows but I will make them for the ladies. It was a long tedious task but the did really well. These are their pillows.

DIY'd: Television Shelf for the family room

So I didn't really want to buy a new shelve for the television. I sad there has to be something that I can do with the shelve I already have. So I was going to break you some mirror and do a mosaic so I decided I would work with the 12 X 12 mirror squares and cut them up. I almost  forgot to take a picture before I started painting, here it is.

More gift wrapping...I love Christmas!

These gifts were from Christmas past: 2011
I played with adding names to gifts for the first time, I think they loved them. I love this glitter gift wrap but be warned your not gonna use tape on this stuff. Glue gun to the rescue.

No, Junk in the Trunk this Tuesday just me and my crazy kids out picking up a Christmas tree!.

Last night we picked up a tree for the family room. We missed my sister and crazy niece,
they definitely would have made this funnier than it was.

That middle kid looks mad as hell but he just doesn't like to smile for me.

Gifts, gifts and more gifts, mean more wrapping, more wrapping and more wrapping!

To know me is to know that I'm all about the wrapping and those know love it! Here are some gifts from past years that made the grade! Let's start with last year 2012. I decided not to put name tags on the gifts. I put numbers on them instead and handed out the numbers to them in the morning so they had to hunt for the gifts. They assumed that the girly wrapping was for the girls boy were they wrong!

TBT: Retro Wallpaper

I'm not  a big wallpaper fan but I really love the look. I change up so much this would be an issue. I would consider removable wallpaper, it's a little pricey but offers more possibilities.

This is a real throw back, do you think it's to much?
