OK so this is the last of this blazer I promise!!! All the pictures of this blazer were on the dress form so we finally had the time to get some pictures of this fabulous blazer in action. We paired it with Mori's boyfriend jeans and a crisp white button down and a pair of leopard pumps. You could easily rock this blazer with a pair of chucks and have the same great result.
I hope you stay tuned because I have some other projects coming up using re-purposed denim that I think ya'll will enjoy, heck tell a friend! Also is you haven't joined my blog please feel free to click that join button over there to your right ......on the side bar......right there with all the faces...... do you see it? Now click it! Thanks, now you're one of my peeps!
Yes I love the entire look!!! You keep SLAYIN every time!!!!

DeleteThat Chick Mori sure has a Fantaboulos Designer and must be the envy of all her friends. I come here for Inspiration and you sure Serve it up on a gold platter.. THANKS!!
ReplyDeleteI' glad to be here to inspire you, cause I love what I'm doing! Thanks so much and just so you know , I probably spray painted that gold platter! lol!!!
DeleteGreat talent and humor too...a knockout combination! Again, I have to say you "killed it" with this jacket! I don't want you to promise not to use the pattern again! I have the pattern and haven't made it yet and your inspirations are pulling me off that fence! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWell OK Myra, I promise to use this pattern at least one more, maybe two more times, hows that? I have to say that I am working one another one right now for a client using a African print and re-purposed denim and I'm really feeling this one. Now as for this pattern, it's a no-brainer to make the most challenging part is fitting in the collar other than that it's cake. Go ahead and get off that fence it has to be hurting your butt by now!
DeleteMichelle - how did I miss this posting?! Love how you've worked the sleeveless blazer from recycled denim but I really like how you reused the pockets. So cool!
ReplyDeleteI don't know cause I posted this on IG as well. Yeah I was determined to use those pocket even though they were a little smaller than I wanted them to be,
DeleteMichelle,
ReplyDeleteDid you cut stripes of fabric for the different kinds of denim... the blazer is on fire. I have made one of these blazers already and would love to make it in denim. Any suggestions would help.
I cut each piece from a different denim jean, whatever was big enough for the pattern piece. Please send me a pic of the blazers you made using this pattern so I can add to the blazer page on pinterest. thatblackchic@gmail.com
