Sweater Weather a Cover Story [Sew What Series McCall's 7539]

Hey Ya'll! I know I've been M.I.A. but with very good reason! I just published my first issue of Sewn Magazine although the magazine took up every free second of my time [lots of trial and error moments, sometimes hours] I wouldn't change the outcome for anything!

Mori rocked the cover of our first issue which was sold out by the way, in this 70's look by way of McCall's 7539. You know me I love the 70's and boy does this reminisce that era. The gold buckle and buttons made sure to add the extra bling to the romper. I used a nice weighted sweater knit from Joann's for this project, the belt buckle is Dritz.

If you didn't get a copy of the first issue, be sure not to miss the second. The first one will always be my baby but this second issue will be EPIC! Pre-ordering is the only way to guarantee to get a copy, I will order extras but not too many. The last go round I had 20 extra that sold within a few hours and I had to turn and still am turning people away.

The magazine is not your ordinary sewing magazine. You are going to get sewing, patterns, fashion, tutorials and my main focus is to introduce you to a bunch of talented sewists of all colors, who are creating amazing things. I hope it inspires you to create outside the box and meet some cool Peeps!
