Hey people, have you seen the "Madison Cardigan" by Style Sew Me? Well here she is and if you're looking for a quick sewing fix, this is the pattern for you...Umm it's a quick fix after you tape all those PDF pages together.
This pattern consists of 4 pattern pieces, the front, side back, center back and the sleeve. Who doesn't love a project with only 4 pattern pieces? There is one thing you should know, this pattern does not include a facing so the fabric you choose must be one where you are not concerned with the wrong side showing. I added a facing to the front pieces of this cardigan for that reason. I also added 6 rows of top-stitching to give it a little flava!
The fabric is from Fabric.com (Telio Paola Pique Double Knit Border Floral Black/Orange/Yellow Fabric)

And flavor you gave it, WOW!!! You came all the way through heeeyy AGAIN!!!!! FIYAH!!!!

DeleteThis is gorgeous! Love the added facing and the fabric blocking.
ReplyDeleteYes the facing was necessary but I was so boring and basic I had to add a little something.
DeleteThis is beautiful as always. What type of fabric did you use?
ReplyDeleteYour topstitching is lovely, and the idea of facing the front is great as a nice alternative. Your fabric looks like it has texture, maybe like a liverpool knit. I'm not a big fan of the high-low, but otherwise I like the lines of this pattern, especially the back seaming. You chose a great combo of fabrics.
