The Madison Cardigan by Style Sew Me " The Great Cover-Up"

Hey people, have you seen the "Madison Cardigan" by Style Sew Me? Well here she is and if you're looking for a quick sewing fix, this is the pattern for you...Umm it's a quick fix after you tape all those PDF pages together.

This pattern consists of 4 pattern pieces, the front, side back, center back and the sleeve. Who doesn't love a project with only 4 pattern pieces? There is one thing you should know, this pattern does not include a facing so the fabric you choose must be one where you are not concerned with the wrong side showing. I added a facing to the front pieces of this cardigan for that reason. I also added 6 rows of top-stitching to give it a little flava!

The fabric is from Fabric.com (Telio Paola Pique Double Knit Border Floral Black/Orange/Yellow Fabric)

    1. Yes the facing was necessary but I was so boring and basic I had to add a little something.

  4. Your topstitching is lovely, and the idea of facing the front is great as a nice alternative. Your fabric looks like it has texture, maybe like a liverpool knit. I'm not a big fan of the high-low, but otherwise I like the lines of this pattern, especially the back seaming. You chose a great combo of fabrics.
