Happy Mother's Day....yes it was

Let me share our adventures in search of Brunch for Mother's day! My daughter tried to make reservations the Wednesday before today with no luck, every place was all booked. So our plan was to get up early, head out at about 9AM to go into the city in search of a place accepting walk-ins. It was to be me and my three kids and my sister and my niece. Well early this morning my niece backed out, so it was just me and my kids. We called the one restaurant to see if they were taking walk-ins and they told us yes. We get there a half hour before they open for them only to say they really weren't taking walk-ins, they would seat us if they could but we would have to wait another hour.

So we get out our navigation and head deep into the city on our way to Warm Daddy's, we finally get there after making a wrong turn going over one bridge coming back on another to get back on track. Yeah our navigation stopped on us and we had not a clue which way to go, so we pulled up Google directions. So we get there and they have seating for walk-ins on the patio, we weren't' to sure about being outside. We then drove to Green Eggs and their line was off the chain , so back to Warm Daddy's and their patio.  I am happy to say the food was good my kids were just being themselves (that's what you say when you don't really want folks to think they have home training) Mori treated us to an awesome time, plus my son's got to see  the beautiful City of Brotherly love! Hope your Mother's Day was as eventful and endearing as mine was!
