I didn't have a Shadowbox so I improvised!

I wanted to showcase my son's football jersey in his newly designed room (pictures coming) I went out looking for a shadowbox and I found one that was regularly $149.99 and it was on sale for 50% off. I had it in my cart and I thought, Michelle do you really want to spend the money on that shadow box? I could use that money to but some Christmas presents......so I carried that shadowbox all around the store and then decided nah, I'm just gonna say no. I'm in line paying for my things and I so wanted to go back and grab it but I didn't, I did a couple of "woosahs" in the parking lot though.

So I needed a way to display this jersey and I came across this nice poster frame and I said I can use this and just staple the jersey on the wall inside the frame. Yes! Poster frame $20.00 staples, free cause I already had those. I  put my frame on the wall, I used Velcro adhesive strips. Then it was a matter of placing the jersey in the frame and stapling it to the wall, this part was a little tricky because it had to be the same on both sides. I just put my staples as close to the seams as I could and if I could I stapled inside the jersey where you could not see the staples. Easy fix to my dilemma, I'd say.
