DIY Zipper Clutch:Nothing says summer like watermelon so why not a watermelon clutch?

How cute is this DIY zipper clutch? I first saw a Kate Spade watermelon clutch(below) and I said" I'm pretty sure I can make a watermelon clutch.
I didn't want to make one like hers, I wanted to make my own. So off I went (Singing) " It's DIY  clutch time, It's DIY clutch  time, gimme a heeeeyy , gimme a hoooo, It's DIY  clutch time"...............so anyway here is my watermelon clutch. Oh yeah, I have a few yards of watermelon fabric that I just pulled out of my stash, so don't be surprised if I post a watermelon outfit. HERE IS THE WATERMELON SKIRT & CLUTCH IN ACTION! [This is not a tutorial]
So below you will notice that I destroyed the clutch that I just finished. I know why it happened, I was walking over to the iron to give the top seam a light press. As I walked to the ironing board, I was really feeling myself after I finished this DIY Clutch, I was like I am sooo awesome and my work is off the chain.  I turned on the iron to what I thought was the lowest setting. I put a piece of fabric over the clutch and I put the iron down on the fabric for a few seconds but when I pulled it up the fabric was sticking to the clutch. I was like are you serious???? Ruined in a matter of seconds....UGH!!!! I could not salvage any of it except  the strap. So YES, I had to start all over. This DIY Clutch was not hard to create at all and can be made under 3 hours.
