Has anybody seen Miss Piggy?

There she is! If you've been following me you know that I made a sequined applique of Miss Piggy a while back, well here she is. I put the applique on a white T-shirt and paired it with a maxi Pink Tutu also made by yours truly. I did this Tutu a little differently than my first skirt. I gathered sections and applied then tightly next to each other on the waist band, I just wish I had added another row of tulle it didn't come out as puffy as I wanted it to be. I have one more batch of tulle, maybe I'll do one more, who knows. Anywhoooo check out Miss Piggy in action.

    1. Thanks Ellen. The model, my muse is my daughter Mori "the face of that black chic" she would wear this for a night out, the t-shirt can go with jeans or whatever. Tulle skirts do require a special event now-a-days. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. I am so in LOVE with this top and have been lusting after a tulle skirt for quite some time also! How does the t-shirt wash up?

As a general note, I love the way you can capture your love for your beautiful skin tone and ethnicity in so many of your project. I just stumbled across your blog today for the first time and really enjoy your creativity. Thanks for sharing your many talents!

    1. Lisa first let me say thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you found my blog....spread the word!!! LOL!!! The Miss Piggy applique has to be hand washed and it's not meant to be washed a lot. I have done it before and machine washed it and I did not have any issues but my daughter will hand wash this one. [next time I will make to removable]

The curly head beauty you see is my daughter the face of my blog and thank you for the compliment.
