An Ankara Color-blocked Halter Top [Sew What? Series Self-drafted pattern Tutorial]

Do you wear halter tops? Booooooyyyy back in the day you couldn't tell me nothing, Being 50 and plus size, I know to stay in my lane. If you know me you know that most of the designs I post are for my daughter but a lot of the items can be worn by a more mature woman as well. Dis ain't one of those items but I won't knock it if you have the body for it!

So being a BERNINA Ambassador I created a tutorial for this halter top for the We All Sew blog. I wanted to introduce their audience to something new and I thought why not Ankara prints. If you've visited the site you know that it hosts tons of posts related to quilting, The quilting community may already be acquainted to Ankara prints because I've seen some amazing quilts using Ankara but I thought that this would probably introduce others to these wonderful prints and their possibilities. Make sure you stop by and check out the easy tutorial and a little Ankara education, drop a comment so they know that my content was valuable to their blog!!!

Mori and I took a walk on Germantown Ave in Mt Airy for this photo shoot. We had a great walk, took some great pictures and we stopped by Chef Ken's soul food kitchen for some great food!
